Question 1

What is Cosmo?

Accepted Answer

Cosmo is a live shopping and ecommerce platform built for Discord. It lets Discord server owners run live drops, flash sales, and full storefronts — selling digital products, roles, and subscriptions directly inside their Discord community.

Question 2

How do Discord live drops work?

Accepted Answer

With Cosmo's live drops, you start a flash sale using the /drop command in Discord. Members type /claim to reserve stock — each claimer gets an instant Stripe payment link via DM. A real-time public drop page tracks stock, countdown, and claims live via WebSockets.

Question 3

Is Cosmo free to use?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Cosmo has a free plan forever with no credit card required. The free plan includes 1 Discord store, unlimited products, live drops, role delivery, and Stripe payouts with a 5% platform fee. Paid plans start at $9/month.

Question 4

What can I sell with Cosmo on Discord?

Accepted Answer

You can sell digital products, Discord roles, license keys, subscriptions, and physical items via live drops. Cosmo supports one-time purchases, recurring subscriptions, and trade-for listings.

Question 5

How do I sell on Discord?

Accepted Answer

To sell on Discord, install Cosmo to your server, connect Stripe for payouts, and create your storefront in minutes. You can list digital products, roles, keys, or subscriptions and members buy directly inside Discord — no external website required.

Question 6

How do I monetize my Discord server?

Accepted Answer

Cosmo lets you monetize your Discord server with paid roles, premium memberships, digital downloads, license keys, and live drops. You keep 95–99% of revenue depending on your plan, with instant Stripe payouts.

Question 7

How do I market my Discord server with Cosmo?

Accepted Answer

Cosmo includes built-in Discord marketing tools: scheduled live drops to drive urgency, flash sales, giveaways, a public storefront page indexed by Google, and embeddable shop widgets to grow and convert your community.
